I have been seeing Dr B for the past 10 years now and he is hands down the best dentist ever! I couldn't be more impressed with the level of care and professionalism provided by Dr. B and his team. I have gotten a crown replaced, a root canal done and some cavities filled and every time had the best experience. He follows up with calls outside clinic hours to make sure you don't have any concerns. Never has he asked to get any dental work that wasn't truly required. Always advocates for the best outcome for the patient. Dr. B himself is truly exceptional at what he does. Not only is he highly skilled and knowledgeable in his field, but he also takes the time to thoroughly explain procedures and answer any questions or concerns. His hygienists are great and they are high tech so I can schedule my next appt from the chair before leaving if I want. Parking is always good and they are ready within a few minutes of arriving in time. I'm not too experienced with all the billing/charging as most of the other reviewers seem to be, but I was extremely happy with my care. I originally started out as an emergency appointment- I'm a Stanford student and they made a same-day appointment for me with Dr. Stan when my wisdom teeth started to act up. They quickly had me scheduled with their once-a-month guest oral surgeon that did a great job taking out all four of my wisdom teeth. I was so happy with my care that I came back for both my annual exam and cleaning since I'm not going home due to covid. They're very covid friendly, cleaning down everything after use, limiting people in the waiting areas, screening questions, temperature taking, etc. I felt safe. This is my second review, but it should have been my very FIRST... An ode to Gratitude, I never thought I would pen... (like seriously NEVER) I am 27 years old and have changed dentists at least 8 times (likely more) in my life while moving around a LOT. Dentistry is very hard to judge for a consumer, but I didn't realize that until today (keep in mind I didn't have any treatment done today)... Today, I saw Dr. Stan on a very busy street (traffic light) for a second (after at least a year), I said hello to Dr. Be (didn't think much of it), but he remembered my name, he remembered our last conversation, asked about my family, and even remembered my nightmare tooth he helped me save against all odds without any pain (still today; knock knock). WITHOUT ANY PAIN- is what I have taken for granted, leading my life as it is, forgetting to say thanks. Everything they did was amazing, superb quality... You see, I now know why it is called Mulcahy Family Dentistry. They are so in sync with each other, I expected them to finish each other’s sentences. From the front desk (Hi Nikki) to Dr Stan and everyone in between, they all go above and beyond to make the patients feel at ease. I saw Dr. Bjelajac today for a full series of X-rays and an exam. I am very pleased with everything about this office. I am a licensed Dental Hygienist, so I can be very knit-picky with offices and doctors. The front office was incredibly helpful and kind, the assistant knew how to take good X-rays (a must for me... Who wants to have the same photo taken over and over for overlap or cone-cutting?). Then the exam was great. I worry about doctors always overdiagnosing. He was phenomenal at walking me through each X-ray even though I already knew what I was looking at. I would highly recommend this office.

With emergency dental issues, just fitting the patient in as soon as possible will get at least 3 stars from me every time. 5 stars for: 1) fitting me in for a very friendly, efficient initial 15-minute emergency visit yesterday (temporary filling), 2) managing to get in touch with my OB-GYN immediately afterward to communicate about today's full repair procedure, 3) fitting me in AGAIN for today's quick, totally painless full filling with a very attentive dentist who let me take a five minute break in the middle of the procedure (29 weeks pregnant, prolonged lying on my back doesn't feel so great). 4) Follow up phone call from the dentist later today, with contact information provided. Struck me as overkill until I realized how much dental work I've had in the past where I DID have same day issues and would have very much liked a brief follow up with the DDS. 5) Friendly, quick front-office staff. I appreciate medical and dental care environments where the focus is always what can (rather than can't) be done: when and how soon can we fit you in, what is the best solution we can provide right now, which parts of the process can we make happen faster.

Dr. Wagner is fantastic. I have already recommended this practice to all of my workmates. I'd had a somewhat poor experience with a dentist a couple of years ago and needed a cleaning. They got me in extremely quickly, and I knew I was going to need a crown for one of my rough teeth. They gave me photos, explained everything, and were very transparent and lovely. I went back in today for the crown and it was a seamless experience! No pain and very professionally done. Highly recommend them as they are trustworthy about what needs to be done, have modern equipment, and are overall very nice people.

I was referred to Dr. Mulcahy by a friend 8 years ago and have had various procedures done over the years (genetic teeth struggle). I have since moved to Marin, but I'm not willing to give up Dr. Mulcahy in Palo Alto. Today's event was a potential abscessed tooth. Dr. Mulcahy was able to get me in same-day, saw me immediately and took care of the situation. Dr. Mulcahy has the rare combination of a wonderful bedside manner (his empathy and genuine care are unparalleled) and amazing quality of work. The other great reason to choose Dr. Mulcahy is that he's very well connected with trusted specialists in case of additional procedures, resulting in significant procedures performed timely, perfectly and with great care. I've seen different dentists over the years with my teeth issues; in the past, teeth issues were painful, scary and needed to be re-done. Not anymore. Cannot recommend highly enough. Seriously.

I don't often write reviews, but felt compelled to write one for Mulcahy Family Dentistry. I had my first appointment today and it was the nicest experience I've ever had at a dentist, both physically and personably speaking. From the moment I walked in everyone was kind and helpful. The office itself is modern and very welcoming. They even have back massaging chairs (what?!). Dr. Be and Yanni took great care of me and were really a pleasure to be around. Also, they must have superior tools because normally I go in expecting the dentist to wage war on my gums and the discomfort was not anywhere nearly as bad as it usually is, despite not having gone to the dentist in over a year. Either that or Dr. Be has magic hands.

Dr. Mulcahy is an excellent dentist. He was super thoughtful and helpful to me as I prepared for major dental surgery (orthognathic) this past winter. He even took time to meet me for lunch and walk me through what to expect and how to have a smooth recovery, since his daughter had had a similar experience in the past. This is just one example of how he and his office always goes above and beyond for their patients. Cindy is an incredible and thoughtful hygienist - I have been seeing her for a few years and she really knows her stuff and makes cleanings a delight. Never painful.

I had the absolute best experience here! I went for my first time recently and saw Dr. Wagner. I've never had a more thorough cleaning and exam. Dr. Wagner noticed things about my teeth that past dentists failed to mention...things that were pretty important!! The dental assistant was also so sweet and adorable! She was really comforting especially since I'm such a baby when it comes to getting dental work. I'm definitely pleased with the care here and excited to get my teeth back on track.

Dr. Wagner is a wonderful dentist and seems to genuinely care about her patients. They were able to get me in the same day due to a toothache and quickly referred me to an endodontic for a root canal consultation. The great office staff as well. The Dental Office of the Future I saw Dr. Wagner for my first dental appointment in 2 years and it completely changed my perception of dentists and dental offices. Coming from an "Old School" dentist that scraped and picked, this experience was completely different. Using technology and precision, the evaluation was thorough, painless, and educational. I was even offered to have the pictures of my teeth emailed to me afterward (i declined). I can't believe I'm actually saying or thinking this, but I look forward to going to Dr. Wagner and the Mulcahy Family Dentistry office for years to come.

I just switched over to Mulcahy because my previous dentist left the Delta Dental network. I L-O-V-E my new dentist's office. The woman who x-rayed and cleaned my teeth (J) was knowledgeable, personable, and hilarious. At one point I laughed so hard I started crying. No gas. Swear. The dentist was great, too! Very thoughtful and direct. The offices are clean, well-lit, comfortable, and professional. I am so excited to have a new dentist.

Mulcahy Family Dentistry was a great find and choice for my two kids. My oldest is a teenager and the second one is about to become one so I switched them over from their pediatric dentists up in San Francisco. I could not be happier with this office. Both dentists are kind and knowledgeable. The front office staff is very friendly and helpful. It has been a smooth transition for my children. Dr. Mulcahy was highly recommended by friends and neighbors for my children but I am thinking of switching my dentist after going to this office for a year now with my kids.

Our family has been seeing Dr. Mulcahy for more than 15 years, going back to his former Welsh Road location. The four of us have enjoyed good dental health all this time, so I can't comment on more complicated dentistry like crowns, bridges, and the like, but I can confirm that he's great with kids and runs a strong preventive dentistry practice. The great experience extends to Janice at the front desk to my favorite hygienist Claudia. Their new office is wonderfully high-tech with digital x-rays and records. My kids love the vibrating massage chairs.

Dr. Mulcahy is a Certified Green Business! I definitely support a small business that is environmentally conscious. Not sure if people realize that becoming green certified is more than recycling paper and cans. It's a really long process and completely voluntary. All the extra work they took to become green certified makes me look forward to my next visit!

The staff is very friendly, the facilities are clean and well lit. I am a patient of Dr. Wagner's, and she's been great. Since they do digital x-rays, Dr. Wagner was able to show them enlarged on a monitor in the chair while she was explaining what work needed to be done on my teeth. She was great, explained the details of my treatment plan and why she was going to prioritize what was treated first. When I came in later for a filling, she gave me the most painless set of injections I've ever had from a dentist. Can't recommend her or Dr. Mulcahy more.

I'm embarrassed to admit this, but it's been a while since I've been to the dentist. I kept passing by, intending to make an appointment, and finally did. Boy am I glad I did. From my initial call, which was enthusiastically answered by Janice, she was very friendly and comforting. I explained that it had been a while and she reacted as though this was a common occurrence. Felt relaxed right away. She is such an asset to this practice. Well, my daughter, Alex was the first in the family to have her exam, we were treated with such enthusiasm and felt comfortable as soon as we walked in the door. After her appointment Alex was replaying her visit and how great the staff was with her, she loved the experience. What 10-year-old likes the dentist? They made her feel welcome, took note of her personal likes, and gave her a grand tour. We even got to meet Dr. Mulcahy, who was not only warm but took the time to meet his newest patient and made her feel special. She was so excited about her experience that she even sold her Dad on becoming a new patient. (He's been with the same dentist since Grad school, over 20 years). A week later it was mom's turn and older brother, Jake's appointment, and as soon as we walked in they instantly recognized us, greeted us with the same enthusiasm they had on our first visit, and made us feel relaxed. I loved that they took the time to explain what they were doing, and what needed to be done in order of priority. They used new technology with X-rays and dental cameras. They produced instant pictures of what was going on in your mouth and displayed them on a TV as they explained what was going on with your teeth. The massage chair was also very nice. They think of everything! Kerry was also very informative and provided a quick printout on future work, the cost breakdown of each treatment, and a no-pressure attitude. I cannot say enough great things about them. I've had a few dentists, but this is by far the nicest facility and greatest staff you will ever meet! It's nice that Alex and Jake no longer dread going to the dentist based on this experience. Keep up the good work! Thanks!!! Christy, Jake, and Alex
